objects. The will is dated Nov. 23, 1904, and codicil May 13, 1905, and he died June 15, 1905.

1st. I revoke all former wills and codicils. I bequeath to my daughters, Mattie and Sara, seventy-five thousand dollars $(75,000) each, to be paid to them out of my estate first after the payment of my debts and funeral expenses. I devise to my daughter Sara, in fee simple, my homestead fronting 150 feet on the east side of Garrard street, opposite Fifth street, in Covington, Ky., running back to the Licking river, and being known as No. 500 Garrard street. I give to my daughter Sara all furniture, piano, pictures, library and household goods of every description, in or about my homestead, including horses, cows and carriages. The heirlooms are to be divided between her and her sister, Mattie. (This property is worth at a low estimate fifty thousand dollars ($50,000).--W. T. H.) I give to Mildred Chase and Louise Chase, children of my son-in-law Charles C. Chase, ten thousand dollars ($10,000) each. I give to Harriet and Thomas Silvers, Jr., children of my son-in-law Thomas H. Silvers, by his first wife, five hundred dollars ($500) each. I give to my brother James W. Hearne two hundred dollars ($200) per annum during his life, and to his wife Edith two hundred dollars ($200) per annum during her life. I give to Eliza W. Hearne, widow of my brother Franklin Hearne four hundred ($400) per annum during her life. I give two thousand dollars ($2,000) to Susie, Harold and Cannon,[2] children of said Eliza W. Hearne, to be divided equally between them. I give to Alice and Frank P. Hearne, children of my deceased brother Franklin P. Hearne, one thousand dollars ($1,000) each. I give to Mat., Charles, Carrie and Nannie Prewitt, grandchildren of my deceased sister Nancy K. Stone, [1] two hundred and fifty dollars ($250) each. I give to Mrs Emily Bodine, daughter of my deceased sister Nancy K. Stone seven hundred and fifty ($750). I give to Mr. Bettie Gates, daughter of my said sister Nancy, three hundred dollars ($300). I give to Mrs. Carrie Savage and James M Stone, children of my said deceased sister Nancy, one thousand dollars ($1,000) each. I give to Jacob Rice, nephew of my deceased wife, fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500). I give to Elizabeth, Nellie and Virginia Crutcher, grandchildren of my deceased uncle George W. Owen, one thousand dollars ($1,000) each. I give Nellie and George Fithian, grandchildren of my said uncle Geo. W. Owen,
