five hundred dollars ($500) each. I give to Mollie Owen, daughter of my said uncle George W. Owen, two hundred dollars ($200) per annum during her life. I give to my cousin, Mrs. Scythia Calmes, nee Hearne, two hundred dollars ($200) per annum during her life. I give to my distant cousin, Mattie Hearne of Philadelphia, fifty dollars ($50) per annum during her life. I give to Mrs. Mary Livingston, sister of my deceased wife, two hundred dollars ($200) per annum during her life. I give to Miss Bettie Hoffman, a dear friend of my wife, fifty dollars ($50) per annum during her life. I give to the Home for Aged and Indigent Women of Covington, Ky., ten thousand dollars ($10,000). I give to the Covington Protestant Children's Home three thousand dollars ($3,000). I give to the American Bible Society one thousand dollars ($1,000). I give to my daughter Mattie, for and during her life, with remainder to her issue surviving her, the house in which she now resides on Sixth and Garrard streets, Covington, Ky., and the house and lot fronting thirty feet on Garrard st., No. 530, during her life, and should my daughter Mattie leave no issue surviving her, or upon her issue becoming extinct within twenty-one years after her death, I give said property in fee simple to the Home for Aged and Indigent Women of Covington, Ky. I give to my daughter Sara for and during her life, with remainder to her issue surviving her, the two dwelling houses on Garrard St., known as Nos. 544 and 546. Should my daughter Sara die without leaving issue or upon her issue becoming extinct within twenty-one years after her death, I give the house No. 546 in fee simple to the Board of Education of the Kentucky Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and the house known as No. 544 Garrard St., to the Young Men's Christian Association of Covington, Ky., in fee simple. I give to Isaac Myers, brother of my deceased wife, the use of my farm in Garrard Co., Ky., worth about $6,000, during his life free of rent, and at his death I give one-third of said farm in fee simple to his children and one-third to the children of Thompson Myers, and one-third to the children of H. Clay Myers, both being brothers of my deceased wife. I give, devise and bequeath all the residue of my estate, real, personal and mixed, to my daughter Sara in trust, to pay one-half of the net income to my daughter Mattie, or her issue if she be not living, and if her issue survive her twenty-one years after her death, then the one-half of said trust fund shall go
