beyond my deserts, I leave in manner and form following, after my just debts are paid.

Item: I give to my son James, six yards of narrow Broad Cloth, and the lining and trimming thereto belonging, and my new fine hat, and my riding saddle, and a young horse, unbroken, and three yards and a half of fine linen.

Item: I give to my son Isaac, one bed and furniture and a small iron pot.

Item: I give to my daughter Anne, one bed and furniture and a large Diaper Table cloth.

Item: I give to my son James my Duroys Coat.

Item: I give to my son Jacob my Blue Coat.

Item: I give to my beloved wife Deborah and her disposal all the rest of my estate not by this last will given away or bequeathed, and I do appoint her to be my sole and only Executrix of this my last will and testament; and I do hereby make void all other wills formerly by me made, and acknowledge this to be my only last will and testament as witness my hand and seal, the day and year first above written.

July 11, 1747, Came John White, Southy Whittington and John Pusey, subscribing evidence to this will and made oath on the Holy Evangel of Almighty God, that they saw the testator Edward Hearne sign and seal, and heard him publish, pronounce and declare this instrument of writing as his last will and testament, and that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehension, of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, and that they, the said John White, Southy Whittington and John Pusey, subscribed as evidences to the same in the presence and at the request of the testator Edward Hearne.
