Howell Reid Hearne married Miss Elizabeth Candler, December 27, 1906, and they have a son, Howell Reid, Jr., born October 15, 1908.
William Dodge Hearne, married Miss Pauline Myers, September 25, 1905, and they have a daughter, Marthida, born November 19, 1906. In the fall of 1911, William Dodge Hearne moved to his farm and is now a successful farmer.
February 8, 1912, Miss Mattie Reid Hearne married Charles P. Cox, and they live at Savannah, Ga.
Henry Branham Hearne son of Francis Sharpe, Jr., born May 1, 1856, married Miss Sarah Collinsworth, January 28, 1886. She was born July 10, 1861, and died March 24, 1898, leaving one child, Janie Collingsworth, born April 7, 1888. Henry Branham Hearne married a second wife, Miss Mary Carlton Waller, April 3, 1901. She was born March 5, 1879. Children: Henry Branham, Jr., born April 6, 1903; Ross Carlton, born April 28, 1904; William Waller, born June 3, 1905; Francis Hall, born October 31, 1906; Martha Elizabeth, born January 28, 1908, and Paul Pennington, born December 26, 1909. Henry Branham Hearne is a successful business man, a staunch Democrat, and an active worker in the Methodist church.
Mary Emma, daughter of Francis Sharpe Hearne, Jr., and Mary Jane Pennington Hearne, was born in 1858 and married Joseph L. Williams, of Newton County, Ga., who was for many years a merchant in Eatonton, Ga. Children: Mary, Henry Hearne, Lillie, Emie, Ruby and Frank.
Mary Williams married Edward B. Smith and has two children, Mamie and Edward, Jr.
Walter, son of Francis Sharpe Hearne, Jr., was born in 1863, married Miss Sadie Patrick. Children: Howell, Millard, Larry, Ethel and Sadie.
Sarah White Hearne, daughter of Francis Sharpe Hearne, Sr., was born in 1830, died in 1882. In 1848 she married Joseph Freeman. Children: Francis H., born 1849; Joe B., born 1852; William W., born 1854; James Edgar, born 1856; John Jeter, born 1858, died 1900; Pierpont Read, born 1860, died 1905; Septimus
