H. and Malinda Threlkeld, born July 18, 1857, married D. L. Porter. Children: Floyd, born____; Blanche, born Dec. 16, 1881; Hawkins, born Sept. 18, 1884.

Eunice, daughter of J. H. and Malinda Threlkeld, born Nov. 10, 1859, married Allen Bond. Children: Robert, born Nov. 20, 1882; Threlkeld, born Dec. 2, 1884; Lilla, born Aug. 16, 1892; Harry and Herman (twins), born Feb. 17, 1895.

Jennette, daughter of J. H. and Malinda Threlkeld, born Sept. 29, 1865, married N. C. Arnold. Children: Kenneth, born Feb. 15, 1889; Birdie, born July 17, 1891; Lura, born Mar. 17, 1894, and John, born Sept. 11, 1898. John H. Threlkeld married a second wife, Frances Rouse; one child, V., born Jan. 20, 1879, married J. W. Lusby, and has one child.

Sarah J. Threlkeld, daughter of Rev. Elijah by former wife, Ruth Mothershead, was born Apr. 15, 1820, married James Hearne June 2, 1842, and went to California, and the Kentucky branch has lost all trace of them. For a large part of the history of Rev. Elijah and Margaret Hearn Threlkeld, with their descendants, I am indebted to G. T. Forsee, Owenton, Ky.

Second child of Elijah and Margaret Threlkeld, Will Ed. Third cild, Virginia, born Aug. 3, 1830, married Jas. S. Forsee, June 13, 1850, and died Mar. 28, 1904. Children: Matilda, Ruth, Elijah and Willie. Matilda, born Feb. 13, 1851, married E. E. Lee Oce. 31, 1872, one child, Forsee D., born Sept. 18, 1875, married Mariah Giles Nov. 10, 1897; one child, Margaret, born Oct. 14, 1898. Ruth, born July 17, 1852, died Jan. 18, 1901. She married W. D. Beck, Oct. 20, 1875, one child, James R., born June 21, 1878, married Lutie McGibney June 14, 1899, and Rhetta born Aug. 9, 1881, Elijah born Feb. 25, 1855; Millie born Dec. 25, 1850. James S., fourth child of Elijah and Margaret Hearn Threlkeld, had children: Arthur, Bettie and Mamie Smith. Fifth child, Rhett, born Dec. 9, 1834, married John J. Forsee, May 17, 1864; children: Geo. Threlkeld and May. Geo. born Feb. 15, 1866, married Lydia Sullivan
