1897. Clifford Lafayette, son of John Hampton Hearn married Miss Nell Kimbrough Nov. 27, 1904. James G., son of James Henry Hearn, born 1864 was a very promising young man. Mary P. Hearn married David M. Kerley July 15. 1888. They live at Hastings, Okla. Children: Mildred, born July 22, 1889; Eva D., born July 29, 1891; Zelda B., born July 16, 1894; Clytee born Jan. 23, 1898; and Joseph P., born Dec. 6, 1903. George Evan Hearn, son of James Henry, married Hallie Anderson July 3, 1898. Children: Joyce Evelyn, born Mar. 21, 1899; Clarence Eugene, born June 1, 1900; Hampton Moody, born Aug 27, 1902; and Frank. born Apr. 11, 1905. They live at Hastings, Okla. David Elijah Hearn married Miss Richie Elizabeth Dec 16, 1897. Children: Albert Henry, born Oct. 29, 1898; Donley Lee, born Apr. 19, 1900; Sue, born Dec. 6, 1901; and Dorris. born Dec. 25, 1903. Their postoffice is R. F. D. No. 1, Elmo, Texas. Lee Hearn married Ines Davis, Oct 31, 1899. Children: William B., born Dec. 21, 1901, and Norma E., born June 28, 1904. He is a farmer and stock man living near Elmo, Texas. The father, James Henry Hearn, lives in Hastings, Okla.

JOHN, fifth child of Thomas (1691-1762) and Sally (Wingate) Hearne, had one son, named William, who died about 1832. I have been unable to obtain the date of birth and death of John, or of the birth of his son William, or the names of the wives of either of them.

WILLIAM had four sons and five daughters only one of whom I can obtain the record of Josiah, born about 1800 and died about 1832. His wife was Sarah Lowe. The children of Josiah and Sarah Hearne are: Sarah A., born 1822, died 1852; Burton Benjamin, born 1823, William Williams, born Nov. 22, 1824; Mary E., born 1826, died 1894; Lydia, born 1830, died Feb., 1893; Elizabeth, born 1832, died l869; Josiah Samuel, born 1835, died 1866.

BURTON BENJAMIN married Charlotte Smith, Nov., 1847; she was born Dec., 1827. Children: W. Cadmus, born May, 29, 1850 married Bettie Moler. Children: Moler, born Dec. 12, 1882; Roland, born Mar. 9, 1886, and a baby, born June, 1894. Geo. Edw., born May 29, 1856, married Margaret Lecompte Feb. 26. 1894; she was born 1865. They have two sons Earl, born Sept. 1885; and Fred,
