born October 1, 1875, and Agnes, born June 15, 1885.

Mary Elizabeth Leverette, married December 21, 1897, Dr. Valentine Taliaferro, of Atlanta, Ga. He was born in 1867 or 8.

Alice Victoria Leverette, married June 8, 1898, Stephen G. Collins, who was born September 1, 1868. They have three children, Alice Dorothy, Frances Leverette and Mary Taliaferro.

Fannie Lee Leverett, is an unusually bright and cultured young lady, and has been a teacher in the public schools and music in Eatonton for fifteen years past, and owns quite a large interest in her grandfather Francis Sharpe Hearne Jr.'s landed estate.

She also writes for several newspapers and all of them consider her a most valuable and brillant writer, and pay her a handsome salary. From a careful study of the Scriptures she became dissatisfied with her baptism (she and her family being Methodists) and went up to Atlanta and on profession of faith was baptized by Rev. Len G. Broughton, pastor of the great Tabernacle Baptist church, and still holds her membership there. In a letter from her January 26, 1912 she says: "When you publish your supplement to Hearne History you must let the rest of the family know that I was baptized by this great and wonderful man, and I am hoping to go up and hear him preach one more time before he goes, on April 1st, to begin his pastorate of a great church in London,"

Agnes Leverette has also been a teacher in the public schools of Eatonton for several years.

Victoria, daughter of Wm. Coote Leverette, married Col. Joseph W. Preston and died within the year.

Elizabeth, daughter of Wm. Coote Leverette, married Benjamin Howell Sanders, of Atlanta, and went first to Texas, and then to Terrell, Okla. Children: Lyman and Leola. Lyman married Miss Anna Lee Aiken, and died in early life, leaving one child, Anna Lee.

Mary Louise Hearne, daughter of Francis Sharpe Hearne, Sr., married a Mr. Swan, and they had one daughter, Louisa, who married a Mr. Clapp, and moved to Texas.
