not married; resides with her mother in Jacksonville, Fla. Isadore Garnie, born about 1866, and died unmarried about 1890.

"JAMES EDWARD, son of Michael and Martha Hearn, moved to Jackson Co., Fla., about 1846, from North Carolina; he married Harriet M. Bryan, of Greenwood, Fla., about 1850. They had several children, all of whom are dead, except Mary, who was born in 1863. James E. Hearn died in Marianna, Fla., about 1890. His widow, Harriet M. Hearn, resides in Nashville, Tenn., with her daughter, Mary, who married Theodore D. West, of Marianna, Fla., about 1884. T. D. West and Mary West are still living in Nashville, Tenn. They have had six children, but I do not remember their names or date of birth; five of them are living.

"LAWRENCE HENRY, son of Michael and Martha Hearn, married Margaret Ann Bell. Children: Lucy Hall, born Apr. 3, 1838; died at Newnan, Ga., May 20, 1883. Robert Austin, born Nov. 25, 1846; removed from Marianna, Fla., to Kosse, Tex., about 1873, where he now resides. He married Mary French about 1877. Children: Neta Bell, born 1879; Mary Hall, born 1881; Robert, born 1883; Edward French, born 1886; Lawrence, born 1892.

"LUCY HALL, daughter of Lawrence Henry and Margaret Ann Hearn, Dec. 3, 1857, married William Henry Milton, of Marianna, Fla., who was born Dec. 4, 1829, and is still living at the same place. W. H. Milton is the son of John Milton, the war Governor of Florida and Susan Amanda Milton, nee Cobb. He was the son of Virgil Homer Milton, Colonel in the U. S. Army, and Elizabeth Milton, nee Robinson, both of Georgia; he was a son of Colonel John Milton, who was born in Halifax Co., N. C., about 1740; was a captain in the Revolutionary War, and was Secretary of State of Georgia for several terms and received the Georgia electoral vote for the first President of the United States of America.

"WILLIAM HENRY MILTON is now State's Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit of Florida, has served several terms, and has held many other positions of honor in Florida; he was a major in the Confederate Army. His wife, Lucy Hall Hearn, died at Newnan, Ga., May 20, 1883; he then married Adelaide Younge McClellan, at Pensacola, Fla., Mar., 1889; she died 1899, with no children.
