Wilson, and they had two children, Callie and Hattie. He married a second wife, and they have two children.

Ebenezer Hearne, son of Ebenezer and Elizabeth, married Miss Olive Mooring. Children: Eben, Clara, and Pryor.

Martha, daughter of Ebenezer and Elizabeth Hearne, married Nathan Hoss, brother to Jacob. Children: James and Callie.

Elizabeth Hearne, daughter of Ebenezer and Elizabeth, married William Bayless. Children: John, Porter and Mary. John married Miss Ella Hammock. Children: Bessie, John, and Francis.

Mary daughter of Ebenezer and Elizabeth Hearne, married Charles Alexander. Children: Floyd, born 1887; and Alice, born 1895. They live in Greenwood La.

Jefferson Hearne, son of Ebenezer and Elizabeth, married Miss Mary Curry. Children: Lillie, married a Mr. McCain; Mattie, a widow with one child named Florence Kilpatrick; and Nathan.

Horatio Hearne, son of Ebenezer and Elizabeth, married Miss Pryor Mooring, who died leaving him one child, Leona, who married James McCain. Children: Ernest, Ashton, Winnie, and Clinton. Horatio Hearne married the second time, Miss Clara Green, and lives in Caddo Parish La.

Frances Hearne, daughter of Ebenezer and Elizabeth, married Jacob Hoss, (her brother-in-law, her sister Sarah having died June 24, 1861), and have one child, Sarah Leigh. Jacob Hoss died Nov. 14, 1890, and the wife and daughter live on the old homestead near Greenwood La.

Joshua Hearne, son of Nehemiah and Bettie, born in Somerset Co., Maryland, 1748; removed to North Carolina to that part of Montgomery Co., that is now Stanley co., and settled where the town of Albermarle now stands. He was drowned in the Pee Dee River, eight miles from Albermarle some time previous to 1798, and was buried at his home. His cousin Clement Hearne (grand father of the author of Hearne History), was with him and barely escaped death himself, mention of which has been made in history of Clement. The name of Joshua's wife or date of marriage I have been unable to obtain. Children: Elisha, born 1770; Thomas, born 1772; Nehemiah, born 1780; George, born 17____; two other sons, Lee and Wiliam, date of birth not known to me. He had three daughters, but we only know the name of one, Jemima, who married a Mr.
