B., who was born July 13, 1855, and who married Mary Snellings. Her second husband was Wm. D. Hudson, whom she married Jan. 2, 1870, and who died Jan. 16, 1898. Children: Charles N., Callie R., Carrie M., (triplets), born Oct. 3, 1871. Carrie M. married Ora Tate Oct. 16, 1897.
Dr. George T. Clark married Mary E. Bell 1857; have one son, George.
Wm. B. Clark married Rhoda M. Bell in Dec.; 1860; have one daughter, Willie.
DR. THOMAS HEARN (who was a physician as well as a Methodist preacher), married second time, 1828, Mrs. Frances E. Williams, nee Winfrey. She was born Sept. 14, 1790, died Jan. 24, 1861. Children: Prudence Eliza Ann Catherine (all one name and when you add Hearn, the initials spell "peach"), born Mar. 14. 1829; and Sarah Louisa Thomas, born May 19, 1832.
ELIZA A. HEARN married Dr. Dunston B. Verdel, July 8, 1847. He was born June 5, 1822, and died Jan. 10, 1892. He was a successful practitioner, an active member of the M. E. Church South, and a noble man. She died Dec. 13, 1900. She was intelligent, refined and a devoted Christian. Their children are Clarence M., Sarah Fannie, Eliza C., Dunston W., Rosalie W., and Thomas Hearn. Clarence M. Verdel is an active and useful minister of the gospel in the Methodist Church South, and is a member of the North Georgia Conference.
Dunston W. Verdel married Minnie Bland Oct. 29, 1899. Children: Eliza Miller, another (an infant), not named. They reside at McComb, Mississippi.
Sarah L. T. Hearn, daughter of Dr. Thomas and Frances E. Hearn, married Elijah W. Johnson. Aug., 1852, and he died 1890. She died Mar. 3, 1902. She was a noble Christian character, and was loved and admired bv all who knew her. Children: Eliza G., married Thaddeus Olive, and died Oct. 17, 1897, leaving four daughters: Mamie K., Sallie L., Ethel, and Harriet (called Hallie), Albert Sidney Johnson, next child, married Miss Augusta Roberts, of Memphis, Teun., where lie now lives and is a practicing physician. Elijah Williams, next child, is a farmer living in Oglethorpe Co., Ga. Lucy Fanny, next child, died Mar., 1889, aged twenty-one years. Sarah L., next child, married Thomas J. Andrew, a farmer, living in Madison Co., Ga.
