Elizabeth Rebecca, daughter of James L and Martha (Head) Hearn, born Apr. 24. 1853, married James H. Shell Jan. 26, 1871, died Aug. 30, 1873, leaving one child, Thomas Redwine, born Mar. 10, 1872, married Frances Faulk 1901, died Oct. 1, 1905. Children: Charles Pennington. born Sept. 10, 1902; Lee Ada, born June 5th, 1904.

Frances Manervia, daughter of James L, and Martha (Head) Hearn, married Lewis Compton, moved to Texas 1900, Children: Emily Delia and Nora.

Samuel Wilson son of James L, and Martha (Head) Hearn, born July 13. 1861, married Sarah Cooper Nov. 5, 1885. One child, Winnie May, born Apr. 28, 1890.

Millie, daughter of James L. and Sarah (Russell) Hearn, born Sept. 18, 1870, married Roseen Tullos Dec. 24, 1892. Children: James I., born Oct. 27, 1893; Parry, born June 9, 1894. Lanis, son of james L. and Sarah (Russell) Hearne, born Jan. 2, 1875. married Jan. 13, 1896. Annie Cumi Barnes. Children Asa Wilbur. born Mar. 29, 1898; William Robert, born May 28, 1900.

Catherine, daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth (Mayfield) Hearne, born in Coweta Co., Ga., married James K. Head Dec. 8, 1853. Moved to Jackson Parish, La., 1867. Member of Methodist Protestant church. Children: William H., born Sept. 21,, 1854: Thomas Smith, born Jan. 8, 1856; Sarah Frances, born Sept. 25, 1857; died Jan. 20, 1894; Melvinia Ida, born Feb. 8. 1861; Arra Ann, born Jan. 13, 1867; John Titus, born Oct. 29, 1871.

William H. Head has lived in Jackson Parish, La., since 1867. He is a member of the Methodist Protestant church. Married Mittie W. Robison Mav 25, 1893. Children: Edith, born May 31. 1895: Looney Edward., born Dec. 6, 1896; Lena Mavis, born Sept. 25, 1898; Thomas Guy. born Apr. 25, 1901; Alva Lyman, born Apr. 25, 1903; Katie Velma, born Dec. 9, 1904. Thomas Smith came to Louisiana 1867. Member of Methodist Protestant church. Married Emma Carroll 1876. Children:
