1852; William, born Feby. 26, 1807, married Millie McGee; children, Jacob, Louis, Ebbie, Adaline and Catherine. He died 1851. Thomas, born May 4, 1809, married Priscilla Ballard; children, Sarah, William, Emily, Elizabeth, Jane, Narcissa, Malissia and Dink. He was a Methodist Protestant preacher; moved to Jackson Parish, La., 1866; died 1879.

John Redwine, born Mar. 21, 1811, died 1838; was a Methodist preacher. Louis, born June 8, 1814; married Elizabeth Fergerson; children, Nancy, Levancy, Parker, Mary and Frances.

Elijah, born Sept. 5, 1816; died Feb. 6, 1897.

Jacob, son of Joshua and Catherine (Redwine) Hearne, born Mar. 23, 1796 married Elizabeth Mayfield 1819; settled first in Franklin Co., Ga., moved to Coweta Co. 1820, and later to Campbell Co., where he died 1843. His widow died Sept. 29, 1883. He and all his family were members of the Methodist church, but later some of them became Missionary Baptists, having married husbands of that faith. His children were: Sarah, born Nov. 30, 1820; Joshua, born Nov. 24, 1821; John Redwine, born Aug. 15, 1823 Thomas. born 1824; William, born 1826; Lewis, born 1827; James L., born Jan. 15, 1831 ; Catherine, born Jan. 15, 1833; Nancy, born --, 1835; Melvinia, born Mar. 26. 1837; Martha, born 1839; Frances, born Oct. 25, 1841 Millie Clemintine, born Mav 25, 1844.

Sarah. married W. P. Davis a successful farmer of Campbell Co., Ga., 1842 .She died Feb. 4, 1885, and Mr. Davis clied Sept., 1896. Children: Reuben P., born Sept. 17, 1843, died Camp Windsor Hospital, Richmond, Va., July 13, 1862, a member of 35th Ga. Regiment, Confederate army. Emily Catherine, born Jany, 18, 1846, married Wm. J. Shannon. Mary E., born Sept. 4,1847. Columbus P., born July 17, 1849. Frances A., born Apr. 23, 1851, married A. Shannon. Georgia A., born Jany. 14, married C. R. Henry. Ephraim Purnell, born July 10, 1858, married Miss Minnie Fowler, lives at Warrenton, Ga. William P., born Oct. 11, 1862, married Miss Alice Newton, son born 1893. Mary E., lives at East Point, Ga. Wm. P. Davis and brother Ephraim P. lives in Atlanta, Ga., are good men and successful lawyers, giving promise of a fine future.
