A. 3rd., born Sept. 26, 1900, and John, born Feb. 28, 1906. For many years James A. Aull, Jr., was in business in Philadelphia, with the firm James A. Aull & Co. Teas, 9 South Front Street, but has recently given it up to attend to his father's financial affairs. His address is 45 West Tulpehocken Street, Germantown, Pa.

Joseph Barnard, son of Lowder N. and Jane Hearne, born Dec. 10, 1856, married Alice Short and have one child, Lowder N., born July 20, 1878. Joseph B. Hearne lives in Georgetown, Del., and is prominent in public life, has filled several county offices, and represented the county in the Legislature. His son, Lowder N., is unmarried, and in business in Milford, Del.

Lowder Theodore, son of Lowder N. and Jane Hearne, born Feb. 4, 1859. married Fannie H. Cannon. Children: Howard T., born Nov. 29, 1884; Flossie D.. born July 31, 1886; Lowder Claude, born Dec. 2, 1889: Elsie Pearl, born Oct. 31. 1893.

The descendants of Ebenezer Hearne (1774) are nearly all either Episcopalians or Methodists they are mostly farmers, and in politics about all Democrats; while none have amassed great wealth all are good citizens and in comfortable circumstances.

Elizabeth, daughter of Ebenezer and Betsy (Roach) Hearne, born July 3, 1814, died Feb. 11, 1851. Married William A. Parsons 1836. He was a carpenter by trade and died 1887. Children: Matilda E., born Sept. 29, 1839, married Joseph Neal: he was a successful farmer near Seaford, Del., and has accumulated a fine fortune, and, though now ninety-two years of age, is quite active and a director in the First National flank at Seaford. The second child, Eben C., born Nov. 14, 1841. married Irena Brown. Children: Lizzie, Joseph, Wesley and Fannie; all live in Wicomico Co., Md. William T., born Oct. 4, 1846, married Hannah Layton. Sept. 24, 1874, one child, Frederick, born June 27, 1875. The last child. Mary A. E., born July 10, 1849. married Colwell P. Byrd, of Pocomoke City, Md., but a native of .kccomac Co., Va. He has resided in Pocomoke City some forty years and most of the time has been a deacon in the Baptist Church of which both he and his wife are members. He is a good business man and has fine -property. Joseph Neal died June 1, 1902, aged ninety-seven years.

THOMAS HEARNE, third son of Thomas and Sally (Wingate) Hearne, was born 1720, died 1800, in North Carolina. By will his
