said two sons and in case that either of my sons should die without heirs, it is my desire that my son Henry Smith Hawkins shall have the moity or half part of the said lands, and in case both my sons first mentioned should die without heirs that it is my desire that the lands aforesaid should be equally divided between my two sons Henry Smith Hawkins and John Hawkins to them, their heirs, Executors, Administrators and assigns.

Item:--I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Hawkins all that tract or parcel of land called "Saturdays Work" containing teo hundred and fifty acres, to him, his heirs, Executors and Administrators, and in case he should die without heirs then I give and bequeath the aforesaid lands to my two sons Henry Smith Hawkins and John Hawkins, to them, their heirs, Executors and Administrators, to be equally divided between them.

Item:--I give and bequeath unto my affectionate wife Catherine Hawkins one third part of the lands I now live on, during her natural life, to her, her heirs, Exrs. and Admrs. and give and bequeath unto my said wife the following negroes, to wit:--Negrs London, Feiz, Len, Mary, Nephin and Charles to her and her heirs forever.

Item:--I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Hawkins the following negroes, to wit:--Bob, Patience, Nan and Moses to her and her heirs forever.

Item:--I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane Hawkins the following negroes, to wit:--Dinah, Cate, Jane, daughter Jane, and Joe, to her and her heirs forever.

Item:--I give and bequeath unto my son Alexander Smith Hendly Hawkins, the following negroes, to wit:--David, Rachel and Sook, to him, his heirs and assigns forever.

Item:--I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Hawkins the following negros, to wit:--Valentine and Lucy to him and his heirs forever.

Item:--I give and bequeath unto my son Charles Hawkins the following negroes, to wit:--Jerry and Cate, to him and his heirs forever.

Item:--I give and bequeath unto my son Henry Smith Hawkins the following negroes, to wit:--Tom, Bridget, Bess, daughter of negro Lucy and Charles, to him and his heirs forever.

Item:--I give and bequeath unto my son John Hawkins, the
