married Miss Mary P. Russell of Yazoo City, Miss., Nov. 26, 1879. Children: Francis Holton, born Dec. 8, 1880; Russell, born June 28, 1883, and Jeannette Hearne, born May 17, 1899. Russell Wasson married Apr. 8, 1903, Samuel Lewis Wooldridge, a large farmer, living near Versailles. D. Edgar Wasson for many years was the leading druggist in Versailles, but is now doing a large insurance business. John M. Wasson, now 1907, past eighty-two years of age, has retired from business, but is a man of wonderful vigor and activity. He and all his family are Democrats, politically, and are all members of the Disciples' Church except the family of Charles E., who are Baptists. Joseph B., second son of Joseph and Sally Wasson, born 1827, married Miss Sally Russell, 1848, and lives in Covington, Ky.; have only one child, Mary Iones, born Jany. 3, 1856, married F. McDonald of Covington. Children: Sadie, born May 31, 1877; Bettie, born Aug. 10, 1878; Marian, born Aug. 4, 1880; Alex Montgomery, born June 19, 1883; Margaurite Clay, born June 21, 1885. Bettie married, 1901, John Barnes Hereford of Odessa, Mo., and have one child, Marian, born 1903. Mr. Hereford has a large department store.

BARTON WARREN, son of Joseph and Sally (Hearne) Wasson, born Aug. 26, 1829, married Laura Graves Nov. 26, 1851. She was born July 24, 1831. Children: Lucy, born Dec. 11, 1854; Mary M., born Sept. 28, 1856; Joseph, born Apr. 27, 1858; Florence G., born Dec. 17, 1861; James M., born Mar. 29, 1864; Laura G., born Dec. 13, 1865; Bessie Warren, born June 15, 1873.

Barton W. Wasson was for many years in the drug business in Lexington, Ky., then farmed for several years and in 1865 moved to Cincinnati, O., where he has since been engaged in the grain and commission business successfully. He has a lovely home in Norwood, 1938 Cleneay Ave., a suburb of Cincinnati. He, too, is a Democrat, and he and his family are all members of the Disciples' Church. His daughter, Lucy, married Oct. 14, 1875, J. William Owens. Children: William Warren, born Oct. 11, 1876, and Fred M., born Oct. 24, 1879. Wm. Warren Owen married June 15, 1904, Miss Alice Officer; have one child, Alice Wasson, born May 27, 1905. Mary M. Wasson
