Thomas Adams (no relation) Mar. 12, 1867. He was born Dec. 14, 1835. Their son (only child), John W., born Nov. 20, 1867, married Miss Lula Piper Apr. 7, 1897. She was born Jan. 18, 1872. They have one child, John W., Jr., born Sept. 26, 1900. When Thomas Adams married Sadie he was a druggist in Lexington Ky., but soon removed to Saline Co., Mo., where he farmed for fifteen years and then was in the grocery business in Marshall several years, then in the jewelry business for a number of years, and was successful in all lines, and retired at the age of seventy-one. The son, John W. Adams, is in the drug business in Marshall. Is a most exemplary young man and gives promise of a useful life. Virginia, daughter of Eveline Adams, born Dec. 31, 1840, married Hugh G. Allen Feb. 9, 1871. He was born Apr. 10, 1844 They have one child, Minnie, born Dec. 29, 1872, married George N. Orear Sept. 20, 1897. He was born Feb. 18, 1869, and they have one child, Virginia Allen, born Dec. 5, 1899. Mr. Allen was a farmer in Saline Co., Mo., but now engaged in real estate and insurance business in Marshall. He served one term as county collector. Nannie, daughter of Eveline Adams, born 1842, died Feb. 1900, married Meade Woodson, a civil engineer and surveyor at Frankfort, Ky. Children: Alline, born Nov. 19, 1874, married Ben Winter Hughes Dec. 9, 1897; children, Ben Winter, Jr., David Meade and Dell Wasson. Ellen T. Woodson, born Oct. 19, 1880, married Dr. F. Miner cooper June 28, 1905. Eva D., daughter of Eveline and James Allen, born Aug. 18, 1861, married John Page Sept. 26, 1883. He was born Apr. 2, 1858. Children: Allen, born Jan. 27, 1885; Hubert, born Sept. 2, 1886; Sadie L., born May 30, 1890; Jessie, born Aug. 25, 1892; John, born July 30, 1893. Wm. Edwin, son of Joseph and Sally Hearne Wasson, died when just grown of quick consumption. Keziah Wasson married James Rice, a merchant in Lexington, Ky., and died without children. Mariah and Sarah, the other two daughters, died in early life. John Minos Wasson, born July 15, 1824, was a merchant in Leesburg, Ky., when his father removed to Lexington, 1848, and he continued in Leesburg, doing a successful business, till
